Upon completing this course, participants will understand the trends surrounding the frequency and severity of natural disasters and how the trend is affecting the personal and commercial insurance markets. We review historical data enabling the agent to confidently explain the changing environment to their clients. We will discuss what factors contribute to the hard market (property specifically) and how agents can instruct their clients on risk management, risk mitigation versus relying solely on financial risk transfer.
