A course designed with the everyday agent in mind to cover many of the topics that an agent would see on a regular basis. Jim Lombardo will talk about licensing and which licenses fit specific situations, how to change a name both for an individual and for an agency. She’ll guide everyone through rebating, referrals, and service fees. A look at the NYS Cybersecurity Regulation and the NYS Sexual Harassment requirement for all employers will keep everyone up to date. Agency contracts will be on the docket including a review of particular clauses. There will also be review topics on the technical side of the business including trusts & LLC or Corporate names on a home, Insurance To Value and how it can impact a claim.
Big I NY members whose E&O coverage is written by Swiss Re/Westport Insurance Corp. or Fireman's Fund through IAAC can qualify for a premium reduction credit if they meet the New 2020 attendance criteria.

Cancellation Policy
Per the New York Department of Financial Services, you cannot receive CE credit for any course previously used for your license renewal (based on the course approval number).
Per the Connecticut Insurance Department, a course can be taken for CE one time in the current license period. It may be taken again in a subsequent license period.
